It has happened, the girls have reached the half year mark. I'm excited and sad all at the same time. They are so much fun with each new day that comes and I want this time to last forever. It truly is a gift to experience life through the eyes of a child. Whoever thought that fringe on a pillow could be so intriguing?! While I want this time to last forever, I am so thankful to God for their health and how well they are doing. We had their 6 mos. check~up the other day and the Dr. is very pleased with their growth and their overall health. Ella is weighing in at a whopping 13 lbs. 10 oz. and is 25 in long. She is in the 25% for her length and still in the 10% for her weight. She experienced a little growth spurt in her length b/c last time we were at the Dr., she was in the 10% for her length. Although she is still small, she has shown a progressive pattern in her growth, so the Dr. is pleased. She has been drooling buckets lately and has to be on the verge of cutting some teeth, although I don't see any signs of them other than the drool. Ella has mastered the art of rolling from her belly to her back and she is working really hard at rolling from her back to her belly. She has become much more vocal and will randomly let out the cutest little squeals of delight. She is an old pro at eating food now that she gets fruits and veggies instead of rice cereal. Whoever thought that rice cereal alone was a good idea obviously nver tried it themselves, it tastes like metal! On to Landrie, our little big girl. Landrie experienced quite the growth spurt recently and moved the gap in their weights from 1 1/2 lbs to 3 lbs! She weighs in at 16 lbs. 10 oz and is 27 in long. She is just below the 50% for her weight and in the 92nd percentile for her length! Last time we were at the Dr., she was at the 50% for her length. Landrie hasn't been drooling quite as much as her sister, but she sucks on her bottom lip really hard and chews her tongue constantly. If you look at the front of her bottom gums, you can see some little teeth, so I'm sure we will have some cut through in the coming weeks. She also is a master at rolling from her front to back, and just last week started rolling from her back to her belly. Since then, she rolls all over the floor! Landrie loves her fruits and veggies also and will make little fists og xcitement when she sees the food bowl. These little girls are just too much fun for words and I never, never want it to end! I'm posting their 6 mos. pics and some other random ones that I never got around to posting before, including halloween. You'll notice in the 6 mos. pics they were pretty intrigued with the paper so Christmas is sure to be a blast!

This is the best I could get of Landrie because she was obviously more interested in the paper!
