On the 12th of the month, my mom and I packed up the girls for yet ANOTHER road trip to Cincinnati. These girls are becoming some road warriors that is for sure! They think it is everyone elses turn to come visit them though...hint hint :) We were gone for ten days and had a good time visiting with everyone. While we were gone, Jay and I had our 3 yr anniversary. My mom and I took the girls to the very park that we were married in and I couldn't help but be amazed and grateful for all of the changes in the last 3 years! We got home last Wednesday and it felt SO good to be back with our boys. The girls definitely missed their brothers and gave them great big hugs as soon as we walked in the door. Thursday was Galen's 11th birthday, can you believe it? I sure can't. I have a picture on our fridge from when I first met the boys and it is hard to believe that the same little boy in that picture is now our resident "tween." Before we know it he will be graduating high school and I will still be looking at that same picture wondering where all the time went! Friday, Jay's nephew Kyle came in town for a visit and we had a nice weekend. Our neighborhood had their big 4th of July celebration on Saturday and we spent ALL day at the pool. It was a lot of fun and the girls are sportin some nice tan lines from that day. Yesterday, gigi and poppi watched the kiddos for us and we had an adult day out on our new boat. We had our neighbors with us and Bryan and Caitlin. Yes, Bryan is home for good now and it is wonderful. We had such a blast yesterday and hopefully we can have a couple more days like that before summer is over. So, I guess that brings us to today with me filling you in and trying to recooperate from these past few weeks of craziness. I'm off to try out my new Wii fit that Jay got me for our anniversary. Here are some pics from the last month, hope you enjoy them all!
