The boys were with their mom on Easter this year, so it was a little laid back around our house. Football was canceled because of the holiday, so we enjoyed the nice weather and did stuff around the house. My previous post on the topic of the girls fashion sense was from that Saturday since they spent most of it with Daddy in the boat. On Easter morning, the girls got up and came out to see what the Easter Bunny left them. They were excited to see their goodies, and even more so when Daddy started giving them all kinds of chocolate at 8:00 in the morning! They had some bubbles and a little bunny stuffed animal in addition to their candy, but no big toys or anything. I don't know about anyone else, but to me it seems that the Easter Bunny is turning into Santa. I would like to keep that separation and have written a note to the Easter Bunny to let him know that we would like the baskets to always contain candy and not toys. :) After consuming way too much chocolate at such an early hour, we all got prettied up and headed to brunch. It was a great breakfast and we left really full! After we got home and had naps, Daddy headed out the door to pick up the boys and the girls and I packed up and went to Gigi and Poppy's for dinner. We had a great time there and the kids were spoiled with more Easter baskets and candy. It was really nice outside, so we played and visited with the fam and just enjoyed the day. After dinner, we packed up and headed home so I could finish getting us packed up to get up bright and early at 3:30 am to leave for the airport...which will be my next post. Here are some pics from our Easter Sunday
(I would like to add that the girls adorable little dresses were a gift from their boyfriend, "The Fat Jackson.")
Aunt Caitlin was trying to help get the girls situated for a picture together...kinda hard these days!
An attempt at a picture with Mommy, ha!

Showin' Poppy some of their Easter goodies
