Then and Now

Every once in a while as I look through the thousands of pictures on my computer, the passing of time reaches out and smacks me in the fast as it flies by.   Wayyyy  back in January (insert sarcasm because I really feel like it was January a month ago) , we went over to our neighbors' house to celebrate their daughter's 2nd birthday.  Here are a couple pictures I took of the girls decorating cookies:

(Ella was sitting on her own side of the table and doing her own thing...as usual...which is why she is not pictured with the other three girls)

And now here is a picture that I took of the girls 2 weeks ago right after they got done decorating some more cookies:

It is almost to much to bear! It makes me cry to think that they were just babies 7 months ago and now they are little girls with sass! (well, Ella has always had that) I love that they still let me snuggle with them and that we still have our sleepy mornings on the couch, but the fact that we can now hold legitimate conversations means that they are little girls and not little babies anymore.  

Lord help me, my uterus is screaming at me telling me how I can fix this heartache of my babies growing up!
