Ella ~ 4 Months

Ella is still our little peanut and is 23" long and weighs 11.02 lbs. Even though she is still small, she is doing great! It wasn't long after she discovered her hands that she started to use them to play with her toys. Another new trick she has learned is blowing rasberries. She does this all day long and it is always pleasant when she does it and spits up at the same time! Ella has also started to be more vocal and talks and laughs more than before. One of our favorite things to do is let the girls face each other and watch them have a little conversation. Ella loves her brothers and they can ALWAYS get a smile and coo out of her. She also likes to lay on the bed in Galen's room and look around. Ella has always been really strong for her size and her strength has become even more apparent this month. When she lays on her stomach, she can ush herself all the way up and also likes to stand up when she is held. She is starting to lose interest in laying on her back to play and always tries to sit up. She definitely like her bumbo chair way more this month! Something else that has started this month is teething. No swollen gums or signs that teeth are about to appear, but tons of drool and gnawing on anything she can get her hands on. As far as her personality goes, Ella is still really calm and laid back. She observes EVERYTHING around her is amazed by it all. She is still a silent little commander and we just love her to pieces!
