I Have Such A Wild Imagination

Things always pan out much better in my head than they do in actuality. We finally got the nice crisp fall weather that we have been waiting for and decided to go to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. Last year, this is what our day was like:



See, nice orderly picture to document the nice relaxing day. Well, on Sunday, these pictures document how our time at the patch was spent:




Yes, we spent the day running after two little maniacs and trying to take a decent pic of two tweens that were less than thrilled to do anything but throw a football. I kept telling my mom how exhausting the day was and that I was disappointed that I wasn't getting the pics that I had dreamt of and I was really bummed that we didn't get one picture of the whole fam. I mean, even just one measley picture that had me in it would have been nice! Well, when I got home and started going through all of the pictures, I realized that I did in fact accomplish what I had dreamt about. I got a bunch of great pictures that document the fun day we had with our twincesses and their AMAZING big brothers. The pictures may not be the great posed pictures that so many families got that day, but they perfectly capture what our life is like at the moment!




Poppy got everyone some root beer and Ella couldn't get enough!


Landrie really enjoyed the hot dog buns and would scream and cry if we tried to take it from her.






Ella's shoes kept falling off, so she ran around in her frilly little socks...which resulted in this:


Landrie left her shoes on, thankfully, and her little feet were equally as sweet


This little guy flew down and hung out on Ella's little hand for a bit









Whew! That was a long post! I'm off to enjoy the beautiful weather with my beautiful girls!
