Recently, in the midst of the summer heat, we decided it was the perfect time to take the girls for a walk to the park. Can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?! Really, it wasn't too bad but the humidity cut our play time short so it probably wasn't the best decision we ever made. Even though it may not have been ideal park weather, I did remember to bring my camera and took some pictures of the girls in action. Since Daddy was with us, I actually made an appearance in some of the pics so I guess when I think about it, this park trip was wonderful!
The girls got some mayjah cases of static head on the slides and thought it was hilarious!
There was a slight wind blowing and when we were standing at the side of the lake, the wind was blowing mist from the fountain at us...obviously Ella enjoyed this a lot!
Landrie, on the other hand, didn't really "become one" with nature the way her sister did. She enjoyed the mist and looking at the water, but she definitely did not like the tree branch that Daddy was trying to show her.
We decided it was time to go because the humidity was just getting to be a little too much to bear, but Ella had different plans. She wanted to assert her independence as usual and we started to walk away to see if she would follow...apparently she doesn't need us!
