Way back in January when we first booked our beach house, I had visions of getting some family pictures taken on the beach. We haven't had any real pictures taken of our family since before the girls turned one! I love those pics, but it was definitely time for some more updated ones. I mentioned this to my aunt's and told them what I was dressing the kids in and then we decided that everyone should do pictures. We did a khaki and white color theme and I am so happy with how they turned out. I had originally planned on making the girls and Abby some coordinating outfits but I came across a great sale and decided to go the easy route and just purchase some dresses. When we all got down on the beach I just looked around and couldn't help but smile. We all looked so nice and I just soaked in the moment. I'm thrilled with the pictures we got!
The boys had to get a game of catch in of course!
Ella was concerned that her dress was going to get sand in it...such a little princess.
Obviously Landrie was feeling this picture! Ha!
Again, they were afraid their dresses would get wet. I guess they didn't realize that they weren't near long enough!
My not so little anymore Jake. He will be 16 this fall and I remember when we used to fall asleep together on Nana and Papaw's couch. I guess it isn't just my own kids that feel like they are growing up before my eyes!
