Well, we had a WONDERFUL Christmas! We woke up to snow and ice covering the ground and trees and it was so great! Gigi, Poppy and Uncle Jon stayed the night with us so they could share in the girls' excitement on Christmas morning. We were expecting for the girls to wake up around 8-8:30, but they didn't get up until 9:15! They actually have been sleeping in quite a bit over the Christmas break and I don't know what I'm going to do when the boys go back to school, I'm getting spoiled! The girls loved the roller coaster that Sassa brought and (as expected) were more excited with the tags and bow than they were with actually opening gifts. I think Sassa needs to just leave their gifts out for the next few years! None of the adults opened our gifts until after breakfast which actually worked out perfectly since the girls went down for a nap right after breakfast. Once again, Jay did a good job picking out some gifts for me! He gave me a zoom lens for my camera, which will be oh so handy come football season next year. He also got me a sewing/embroidery machine! I'm really excited about that and told him to watch out because I might just go and monogram all of his underwear, haha! The rest of our day was spent in our pj's. lounging around and stuffing our faces with food...the best kind of day! Ha! The only thing that could have made the day perfect would be if the boys were able to be there with us. It was a little weird with out them and I know that the girls are
definitely missing their bubba's. Jay is on his way to get the boys from their Mom's house right now, and when they get back we will have our second Christmas celebration with them! They are getting something that they have wanted for a looonnnggg time and I'm pretty excited about it. Here are some pics from Christmas eve and day and I'll get pics up from today as soon as I can. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas this year!
This is as good as the pictures get as far as snow on Christmas eve went. There was NO way I was going out in that ferocious wind! I also didn't go out to get a pic on Christmas day when the snow was covering everything because it was so darn cold, but Jay did video tape it. Maybe some day I'll get my act together enough to show that to you!

Ella saw this Santa hat in Poppy's office and just
had to put it on. I think she thought it made her invisible though because anytime I tried to get her attention in it, this is what she did

Alright, so I underestimated the number of pictures that I wanted to share with you. There are more, but we have to head over to Gigi and Poppy's for our Christmas Dinner and festivities pt 2, soooo, to be continued...
