The Many Faces of Landrie

The sitters in the gym nursery have confirmed what I've thought all along, Landrie needs to be in commercials or something. The girl sure can put on a show and she made that obvious today when I tried to get a good workout in. I was happily sweatin' my butt off on the eliptical machine and groovin' to the Black Eyed Peas when I heard the faint calling of "Mrs. Brummett to the nursery, your child needs you please" over the intercom. So, I jump off of the machine, not being considerate enough to wipe it down with disinfectant (sorry gym patrons) and go to rescue my child. In the middle of 35 laughing, running and playing children (Ella included) there stood a hyperventilating and puffy face Landrie. When I walked in, she said to me in her most pitiful voice ever "Wheredjago? Wherejago?" and ran over to embrace me in a hug as if she had never seen me before...3 seconds later, she was FINE. The workers felt bad for her because apparently she had been crying since I dropped them off, they all said, "Wow, she sure can turn it on and off can't she?" Why yes, yes she can! I had the girls in the tub last week, and managed to capture about a 7 second time span of Landrie when she is "On"...I will spare you another post of pictures of her when she is "off."

What a cute family you have. I would give anything to have had a blog when my babies were little...it would serve as my memory now!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing your "whale" story. I have a son named Will and I usually say it like "wheel"...but apparently today it sounded like "whale"...

I bet you've taken on an accent by now....am I right?
